From realms of white, a whispered sigh, Descending slow from cloudy sky. A simple sign, a silver tear, Of nature's grace, dispelling fear. The parched earth waits, a thirsty plea, For life's renewal, wild and free. Each verdant shoot, each tender bloom, Awaits the gift escaping gloom. Necessity's soft, urgent hand, Across the barren, thirsty land. A lifeline sent, a healing touch, Desired, awaited, oh so much. The rain descends, a gentle beat, Washing clean the dust and heat.
