Blame 📝

A finger points, a voice cries out,
For someone guilty, filled with doubt.
A scapegoat sought, a reason why,
For shadowed skies and tear-stained eye.

But wait, hold fast, before you leap,
A silent question, buried deep.
A silvered surface, cool and clear,
Reflecting truths you hold so dear.

Do you seek blame, a target found?
Then face the mirror, on solid ground.
Begin right there, with searching gaze,
Within that frame, through life's long maze.

The world, it spins, a chaotic dance,
Unfairness blooms, a bitter chance.
And yes, perhaps, the odds are stacked,
A game of fortune, wrongly tracked.

But in that storm, a steadfast guide,
The choices made, where true powers hide.
For though the world's a raging sea,
My ship I steer, eternally.

I cannot bind the wild wind's breath,
Nor halt the hand of cruelest death.
I cannot force the sun to gleam,
Nor wake a long-forgotten dream.

The seeds are sown by forces vast,
But how they bloom, how long they last,
Depends on me, the soil I till,
My will, my strength, against the chill.

The action swirls, a cosmic play,
But my reaction lights the way.
So look within, before you blame,
And claim your power in the game.
