Inner Beauty

Can you respect my opinion even though we don’t agree,

There’s nothing more attractive than intellect,boldness, kindness, understanding and respect to me,

Physical beauty is great,

But it can’t replace any of those traits,

You can find the most outwardly beautiful person full of hate,

We can debate forever about inner beauty versus outer beauty,

In the end I’m still going to go with what works for me,

You see I love outwardly beautiful things,

But what brings me the most joy is the love and emotions that come from within a human being,

I didn’t begin life with these thoughts,

I prayed and I prayed and God brought me a new perspective on life and everything in it,

You don’t look at a wrapped gift from the outside,

You try to see what’s in it
