The Lady Lost

The Lady Lost, in shadows deep,
Her voice unheard, her secrets sleep.
A silent echo, in a world unkind,
A spirit chained, a searching mind.

But dawn arrives, a golden ray,
That melts the ice and lights the way.
The voiceless one, now finds her tongue,
A song of freedom, bravely sung.

Her words take flight, on winds of change,
No longer whispers, rearranged.
She speaks her truth, with strength and grace,
And finds her power, in this sacred space.

The hand once stilled, now marks the choice,
To raise her voice, and join the voice
Of those who strive for equal ground,
Where hope and promise can be found.

She dreams of ballots, bearing her name,
A future forged, beyond the blame.
A gleam ignites within her eyes,
No longer lost, beneath these skies.

The lady lost, now found anew,
With dreams to chase, and work to do.
Her heart takes flight, on wings so bold,
A story whispered, to be told.
