Surrounded By Water
The sun-kissed sand, a silken bed,
I lay down weary, thoughts unsaid.
The waves, a rhythmic, gentle sigh,
As worries drift beneath the sky.
Relaxing here, the beach my balm,
A silent, sun-drenched, salty calm.
The lake, a mirror, still and deep,
Where secrets ancient softly sleep.
At water’s edge, I cross my knees,
And breathe the air upon the breeze.
Each exhale stills the inner strife,
Meditating on the gift of life.
The river flows, a silver thread,
Through mossy stones, a verdant bed.
I sit beside its winding track,
And watch the world it carries back.
The whispering water sets me free,
Finding peace, eternally.
In sand, in lake, in river’s flow,
A tranquil solace, starts to grow.
The earth’s embrace, a healing art,
Reconnecting with my very heart.
And in these moments, clear and bright,
I find the stillness, pure and light.
