Blame

Are you looking for someone to blame,

Do you have a mirror,

Start there,

Of course life seems unfair,

It very well may be,

But all my reactions and decisions start with me,

I can’t control what’s done,

I can’t make the sun shine,

The action may belong to the world but the reaction is mine

Blessings On The Way

My phone rang, another notification It felt like the universe was sending bad salutations, This week has been a marathon, problems in every stride, Dodging landmines, nowhere left to hide, I feel the weight of my problems on my back, Every step forward, feels I'm under attack, Bills piling high, dreams fading to gray, Thought the sun had forgotten how to light up my day.
