Don't Waste Time
The clock ticks on, it’s a steady beat,
A precious rhythm, it’s bittersweet.
I yearn to seize each fleeting hour,
And wield its potential, like a flower.
To make the best of time’s swift flight,
And fill its moments with pure light,
Be productive, sow the seeds of gain,
And watch them blossom, ease the pain.
To set my sights on distant shores,
And chase the goals that life implores.
Each task completed, brick by brick,
A grander structure, built so quick.
Beyond the goals, a distant call,
The dreams that shimmer, stand up tall.
To reach for them, with open hand,
And build a world, I understand.
So let me rise, with purpose clear,
And banish doubt, and conquer fear.
For in this moment, I can bloom,
And make my time, escape the gloom.
