Why Do I Write?

What am I doing this for,
To express my thoughts and opinions,
To clear my mind,
To be creative,
To document my life,
I'm not doing it to be famous,
I'm not doing it to get exposure,
Money would be appreciated,
I do this because I've always done this and I enjoy it.

Oh, Source of wisdom, breath of life's own art, Please God, imbue the promptings of my heart. Grant me the words, a flowing, crystal stream, To waken spirits from a slumbering dream.
