Advice

(Ounce of Prevention)
Check the blueprint before they pour the concrete form,
Check the tire pressure, watch the gauge before the storm,
See, the difference between a master and a man who lost it all,
Is one repairs the leak before the whole river fall,
They talking shortcuts, skipping steps to get the loot fast,
But the foundation cracked, you won't survive the future blast,
I’m a mechanic with the future; preventative maintenance,
Don't wait for the engine to blow to start paying attention,
Anxiety’s a tax, levied by the clock,
But you can’t buy futures, you just gotta invest in the now stock,
I keep the wisdom close, the ego always checked low,
I’m working with the soil, I don't dictate how the wheat grows,
Don’t be foolish a man, a stitch in time saves nine,
It’s not about controlling fate, it’s about reading the sign,
Fix the window pane, change the filter in the AC,
Beause a crisis costs a thousand times more than peace you see?

(The Balance)
They say an ounce of prevention is a whole pound of cure.
I don't control the future, but I trust God's foundation is pure,
Stay ready, stay humble, put the solid work in today,
Don't be arrogant, we still have to get down and pray for a brighter day,
We walk that delicate tightrope, between planning and peace,
Have that mental emergency fund stacked, so the overthinking can cease,
Don’t worry about tomorrow, but don't stumble in blind,
Be prepared, put the work in, leave the future to the Divine.

( Worry vs. Preparation)
I know people who got paralyzed, stressing over ‘what if’
So much fear for the future, they forgot how to live,
They hoard batteries and ammo, but neglect their peace of mind,
That's not readiness, that’s just a panicked state of mankind,
Worry is interest paid on a debt that's not incurred,
It’s mental clutter, the quiet lie that you preferred,
I’m not trying to micromanage the sun’s rotation,
I’m just making sure my boat is sturdy for the sea migration,
I don't need the crystal ball to know that debt hurts,
Or that consistency in practice is how real effort works.
The future is a mystery, a gift wrapped in twilight,
But I packed my mind with tools and I sharpened up my sight,
So when the bell tolls, I step forward with a clear head,
Not with the frantic scramble of the unprepared with fear and dread.

( Humility and Hope)
See, arrogance is thinking you can budget for the hurricane,
Thinking hard work alone can stop the pouring rain.
You can't steer the whole ocean, you just navigate the stream,
You can’t force destiny, but you can build a stable dream,
I’m not foolish enough to think I got the whole thing locked down,
I pour the positive energy, I ask for the clear skies,
Because action without faith is just spinning disguise,
I do my part, then I let God handle the rest.
