Sinners

We all have our opinions, our judgments, our defects,
But before we point fingers, let's take a step back,
We all have dirt on our hands, we all have a past to unpack

I'm a sinner, just like the rest,
I've done things I'm not proud of, put myself in a mess,
I have no right to look down on you,
Because when it comes to sin, we all have a few,
Maybe yours is hidden, maybe mine is on display,
But at the end of the day, we all got our own way,
Of messing up, of falling short, of losing our grip
And that's when we should remember, we all sin, we all trip

Judgment's a heavy weight, we all carry the load,
But before we cast our stones, let's examine our own road,
We all have skeletons, we all have shame
Sin is sin, we all got the same

Some sins might seem bigger, some might seem small,
But in the eyes of the truth, they all stand tall,
We all have our struggles, our demons, our fights,
And when we judge each other, we're just hiding from the light,
I'm not perfect, you're not perfect, we all have our flaws,
But that doesn't give us the right to judge each other's laws,
We all have our own struggles, our own battles to fight,
And when we come together, we should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down

Honesty's the best policy, let's keep it real,
We all have our secrets, our hidden deals,
But when we confess, when we own up to our mistakes,
That's when we can start to heal, that's when we can start to escape,
The weight of our judgments, the weight of our shame,
And start to walk in forgiveness, start to walk in his name

So next time you see someone, don't be so quick to judge,
Remember your own story, remember your own grudge,
We all have our own struggles, our own battles to fight,
And when we come together, we should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down
